It passed already five years since I have started suffering from migraine. In the beginning, I did not even know that I had migraine. I thought it was just a hard headache, such as those my mother has. However, as it has become more frequent I decided to pay a visit to a doctor to inquiry what was going on. In this way, I found out I've got migraine. Unfortunately, I got no answers to questions such as, why have I got migraine? What exactly is migraine? Will I suffer from migraine for the rest of my life? Can I avoid migraine attacks? How to treat it? And so on.
Then, I got a prescription for a pill I had to take whenever I feel an attack is approaching.
Years passed; the attacks become more frequent; the medicine did not help any longer and, I have not got any answer yet.
Suddenly, I saw myself in despair, trying anything people would tell me in order to "cure" migraine or relief its pain. Despair, more despair and more despair. No light at the end of the tunnel. only despair and, of course, more migraine attacks. I was on the way to give up hope completely.
However, before giving up hope. I decided to research and learn what is migraine and how can I control it and eventually get rid of it.
This blog aims at publishing the results of my research and to help other people better undersand what is migraine and maybe not to suffer as much as I have suffered up till now.

Reporting my own experience as a migraine's sufferer as well as publishing the results of my research to find out how to reduce migraine's attacks and/or cure it. Disclaim: I am not recommending anyone to try on any therapy or medication neither am I responsible if you try. I'm just telling my personal experience and findings as well as treatments or therapies I decided by myself alone to try. I suggest you to consult your physician and discuss whatever you learn from this blog.
